A non profit mountain bike organisation providing after school programmes and holiday camps for kids age 7-17 years old.

This May, WORD are running a 4 week co-ed Sunday Session programme! Each week we’ll focus on a different skill and there'll be heaps of time for snacks and making new buddies.The days are getting shorter (and a bit wetter!) but it’d be rude not to make the most of the season and ride our bikes on a Sunday.

Sundays: 10am-12pm

Location: Waitākiri/Bottle Lake Forest Park

7 May - Being a good MTB ambassador & games!

14 May - Fundamentals (body position, brakes, gears)

21 May - Cornering

28 May - Tricks!

Fees free options are available. Thanks to Rātā Foundation funding we are able to offer some free spots on this programme. Please select this ticket option in your registration if your young person would otherwise not be able to join us due to the cost barrier.
