Te Ahi Ora Fire Performance Group are thrilled to announce that they will be coming to Waitākiri Primary School this year. They deliver free performing arts lessons to schools, followed by free evening fire performances and lessons for our community.

Te Ahi Ora will run workshops with our Kapahaka group, Windsor and Burwood students during the day. On Thursday 30th March from 6-7pm Te Ahi Ora Fire Performance Group will be hosting a free performance on the field for all Waitākiri whānau.

Their tutors demonstrate the top level of skill for the first 15 minutes, and the rest of the time will be spent teaching the community how to perform with fire. All school students, staff, and families are invited to watch and participate. Put the date in your diaries and come and join in on the fun!
