The Waitākiri Boy's Basketball Team played in the Canterbury Indoor Tournament last Wednesday 9th August at the MainPower Stadium in Rangiora.

They played exceptionally well in their pool games, winning 3 of their games and drawing in the fourth game. In the quarter finals they lost to Thorrington 10 -2, and then went on to win the last two games 20 - 5 against St Joseph's Papanui and 14 - 2 against South New Brighton to come 5th in the Canterbury Competition.
