Term one is almost finished! Thank you for your support with learning, sports and raising funds for the school. We really do appreciate all the little things our community does to support us. Thank you also to the many parents who turned out to support us at the duathlon last week.

Friday 26 April, 9am - 3pm from the Waitākiri School office. Uniform orders close Tuesday 23 April at 12 noon. A reminder that we have uniform samples to try on for size in the school office.

The attached draft statement has been developed to inform our school community about how health education will be implemented at Waitākiri School.

Attached is our Response Guide which staff use as a guide when dealing with undesired behaviours.

Over the past term, we have been using the ‘gotcha’ beans school-wide within studios, as well as out on duty.

The Waitākiri School Board of Trustees would like to welcome Daniel Parkinson to the team. He has been coopted onto the Board to support upcoming building projects. The new 25m pool is one of these, but we also have building maintenance projects coming up shortly. Daniel has two children at school, one in year 5 and one in year 3.
