The summer T-Ball season came to an end last Saturday with a prize giving at Bathgate Park. Wakari were amongst the winners on the day.

All of the T-ball teams had a very successful season.  I was lucky enough to see the Wakari Gold team in action.  They were a great little team with some very powerful hitters amongst them.  They played together brilliantly, encouraging each other along. It was a fun game to watch, and the children were obviously having fun.  Thanks to Miss Robinson and Wendy Clinch who worked so hard with this team.

The Wakari Silver team had an amazing season.  They were by all accounts a strong little team who worked hard all season.  Well done to the Wakari Silver team who came second in their grade.  This was fabulous work, as it was a mixture of old and new players who played so well together.  Thanks again to the fabulous coaches Michelle Matthews and Micaela Kena.

Last, but by no means least our senior T-ball team Wakari Blue. This team won their grade, with not just one but two trophies as their prize.  The team were strong and dedicated and had an amazing season. Well done Wakari Blue.  Again thank you to our fabulous coach Andrew Dawson.  Without our Parent coaches we would not be able to enter so many teams into the Sport competitions for winter and summer. Looking forward to next season all our T-Ball players, Well done to all.
