The enthusiastic learners from the Room 4 & 5 Hub have had such fun being scientists! As a final celebration of our science learning we made sherbet!
You may be wondering - What is the science behind sherbet? We can tell you!
According to Planet-Science.com: "When you put the sherbet on your tongue, the saliva in your mouth causes the citric acid crystals to dissolve. The citric acid reacts with the bicarbonate of soda and produces carbon dioxide gas. The bubbles of carbon dioxide make the fizzy feeling on your tongue."

What will we do with this sherbet? As it is then season of giving, we are going to choose someone to give the sherbet to - maybe our parents, our brothers or sisters, our friends or our grandparents! We really hope they enjoy our sherbet!
