September has been a month of celebrating our Kapa Haka learning, with our Roopū Tuakana (Seniors and Middles) performing at the Edgar Center for Polyfest 2022, and our Roopū Teina (Juniors) performing on our Wakari School stage earlier this week.

It has been so fabulous to see the children shine on stage with their Kapa Haka learning. 

Earlier this month, our Tuakana Roopū performed on stage at Polyfest - the first time (due to Covid) that Tīkanga Wakari has been able to be on that stage since 2019! The (over 100 strong) group did themselves proud representing our school! 

Then, just yesterday, the Teina Roopū (Juniors) performed on our school stage for the whole school and many parents - we hope you enjoyed their performance as much as we did!
