Well done to all of our runners in muddy conditions and congratulations to Hayley Ward for coming 11th in the year 5 girls' race.

On Friday September 1st, 5 of us who came in the top 10 at the Hills Cluster cross country ran in the Otago cross country race.  It was held at Kaikorai Valley College and it was really muddy! I was really proud because I came 11th in the race and I had a sore leg so that was a bonus.  When I was almost at the finish I passed one of the girls but apparently it didn't count so I think I came 10th.  

Two weeks later at school assembly the 5 of us got called up by Miss Robinson and got a certificate for our hard work.  The other runners were Tom Dangerfield, Indy Ivamy, Elisabeth Hutton-Neill and Jack Keen. They did a great job too.
