The nature loving Year 2's have been so thrilled to welcome three adorable caterpillars to our Hub!

One of our parents kindly gifted the swan plant and caterpillars to our Hub. We have been keenly watching the hungry caterpillars munch, munch, munch their way through the swan plant and grow so much bigger!

We were a little bit worried when one of the three caterpillars disappeared! We searched high and low and then we discovered that the caterpillar had created its chrysalis up in the doorway track between the two classrooms of our Hub!

Then one day we saw some magic happen! One of the caterpillars transformed into its chrysalis in front of our very eyes! Have a look at the video below to see the magic in action!
