While you are reading this, the year 5's will be spending 2 nights at Waiora Scout Camp!

Here are the thoughts of from some Year 5's before they left for camp on Wednesday:

Charlie - I am looking forward to decorating my bunk room and going abseiling. I am excited about going to camp.

Michaela - I am feeling happy about going to camp to get away from my sister. I am looking forward to decorating my bunk room and going on the water slide.

Hayley - I am excited to be going to camp and I'm most excited for abseiling and trying all the food there.

Tyler - I am looking forward to doing the confidence course at camp. I'm quite nervous about eating some of the food though.

Ryder - I'll be excited on the day we leave for camp. I'm excited about trying new food and new things like archery.

Joey - I'm excited about going to camp. I'm not looking forward to cleaning the toilets though. I'm looking forward to doing air rifles.

Keziah - I'm looking forward to trying archery and the water slide at camp. I'm a bit nervous about camp.

Ollie - I'm looking forward to doing archery and air rifles. I'm excited about going to camp.

Thomas - I'm excited about air rifles and the glow worms. I'm excited and a little bit scared about going to camp

Noah - I'm looking forward to trying air rifles, swimming and the glow worms. I'm excited to be going to camp.

Morgan - I'm very, very excited about camp. I believe this camp will be very good. I'm excited to decorate my bunk room and to see the bunk rooms. I'm looking forward to swimming and trying abseiling.

Mae - I'm really excited about camp and I'm looking forward to abseiling as well as decorating my bunk room. 

Finn - I like camping and being away from home, so hopefully I don't get homesick. I really want to do all of the activities especially the air rifles.

Molly - I'm looking forward to the room inspection and all the food we get to eat, because we get home baking and ambrosia. I'm really excited because I've never stayed away from home for so long.

Tom - I'm excited about going to camp. I'm looking forward to doing air rifles and archery. I'm excited about the people in my bunk room too.
