Lots of food, posters and laughs throughout the Staffroom last week.

It was our time, teachers and children, to give back to our fabulous support staff last week as we celebrated their contribution to our school. I won't list everyone or what they accomplish within Wakari but the kid's notes, posters and photo's said it all. It was pleasing to read the personalised tributes to each of these integral staff.

Plans are to be submitted to the Board of Trustees for the new build. Our large refurbishment project has concluded and we have a couple of other property happenings perhaps coming to fruition across the upcoming months. Exciting times for all here.

Pupils continue to work very well in classes however, post lockdown the behaviour in our break times has left a bit to be desired from some of our children. I know the teachers and I appreciate the support we receive when we notify you of the goings-on. It is important to continue to hold high expectations of ourselves and the pupils in our charge.

Teachers have been preparing reports and these will come to you via your children on the Wednesday of the last week. There should be no surprises within these envelopes and we look forward to seeing our normal large turnout to Parent - Teacher Interviews in week 4 of term 3.
