A "Jamming" Assembly

Chris Smith —

Thanks to the pupils who danced, sung, 'uked', and shared work from recent weeks, it was a fun assembly to be a part of.

The Independent Taskforce charged with reviewing the way our schools are governed, managed and administered wants to hear your views and experiences of the schooling system – what’s working well, what’s not and what needs to change in order to meet the challenges we face and to achieve equity and excellence.

A few notices will have appeared from the bottom of schoolbags this week. Parent Interviews are happening on 2 and 3 July. To lighten the impact on forests we are trialing an online system (very simple) to gather some response around whether your child will be remaining at school on that afternoon. It took me less than a minute to click on the link and complete the form for three of the Smith children. Please give it a go, it should have already arrived in your inbox (if we have your correct email address) or you can access the link which is available on our Facebook and Website. For those not online there is a computer available in the office which you are welcome to use. As always feedback would be appreciated.

Our other note that needs to be returned smartly is our Parent Interview one. We will be holding our second set of interviews on Monday the 2nd and Tuesday the 3rd of July. A fabulous response to our term 1 interviews saw a 96% attendance from our Parent Community. A written report, which will form the basis of discussion for the interview, will come home the week prior to Interviews.

As always thanks for your support.

Regards Chris
