Building relationships across the school.

Relationships are key within schools and as part of our ongoing review processes as staff, we have identified how important it is for our teachers to know, personally, as many of our learners as possible. It is also great professional development to work alongside and with different teachers across Wakari.

In week 4 of this term, we will be running a teacher exchange within the school. This will entail teachers operating in a different hub from what they now currently work in. This will be done in two rotations so that we are able to have some teachers remain in their ‘normal’ hub while also having someone else joining the teaching team. This will happen in all classes apart from Rooms 15 and 2, our two New Entrants rooms.

You may see a different smiley face for a couple of days during week 4, do say hello and feel free to chat to whoever is within your child’s hub.
