Enviro Group News

Lynda Bardwell —

On Wednesday some of the Enviro kids spent time looking at one classes' lunchtime waste.

We sorted the rubbish into groups which were landfill, compost, recycling and re-use.   After that we drew pictures of our lunches and discussed how we could further reduce the amount of rubbish being thrown away.

After that we looked at some beeswax wrappers and explored different ways of folding them.  They are so much better than using gladwrap as they can be used over and over again.

We are looking forward to our next session because we are going to make our own wrappers!
