Yoga at Senior Friday Project!

We were very lucky to have Aaron Cairns come in to teach us about yoga and mindfulness at Friday Project. Here are some of our thoughts...

For Friday project Aaron came and did yoga with the fitness group. First we warmed up we played the hoop game where we all stand in a circle and hold hands and try and get the hoop around, it was fun. After that we got to make cards and we got to pick who to write to then we got to put stickers on the cards. Last we put a lavender mask on our eyes, then Aaron put a pebble on our forehead and we had to guess the colour that we got. I guessed green and I got it right. We got to keep our pebble. I had a great time and I hope Aaron comes back soon.

The Friday project fitness group did yoga and i really enjoyed it because we did ninja warrior poses and played a game with a yoga dice. The relaxation poses made me feel calm and relaxed. I really want to do it again because Aaron is really good at yoga.

On Friday the 29th of November the fitness group in Friday project did yoga with Aaron. We did lots of fun stuff with her. First we used a breathing ball, it helps us be calm. Then we played a hula hoop game where you have to hold hands and try to get the hula hoop around. Then we wrote cards. Then we did some yoga. Then we put on lavender masks, Aaron put a pebble on our heads then we had to guess the colour of it. I guessed green but i got it wrong. We got to take some pebbles home, I really hope she comes back.
