Check out Room 3 and their amazing art!

On Tuesday Room 3 went to the Art Gallery. We learnt about the Seven Stars of Matariki and Maui and the Sun. We made the sun (Tama nui tera). First we drew an outline of the sun and then we added a  face to make it look cool. Once we had finished that we went over the lines in sharpies. After that we painted then we brought them up to dry. Next we used the Indian ink to draw around the sun. We enjoyed our time with John a lot.
