Super Swimming from the Room 8 & 9 Starfish!

Heather Bonney —

The Junior Syndicate swimmers have been enjoying their time in the pool over the last two weeks!

It has been pleasing to see the steady progress the Juniors have been making in their swimming ability from their daily lessons.

The Room 8 & 9 writers have been inspired by their time in the pool, and have been working on using their senses to add more detail in the their writing.

I can see bubbles.  I can feel bumps.  I can hear people.  I can smell chlorine.

I can feel concrete at the bottom of the pool. It’s hard. It does not feel nice. The pool is filled with water. Sometimes when I first get in it’s very warm.
