Friday Project Kindergarten Visits

Katy Fitzgerald —

20 Year 5 and 6 students have been visiting Wakari Kindergarten as part of their Friday Project sessions - read on to find out how they are going so far!

We are visiting the kindy kids every Friday. We all have different goals with the kids like running races, play dough, slime, swings and books. There are so many things to do. We all enjoy playing with the kids. They're so tiny and kind. Thank you to the parents for helping, even if it is just once we are super grateful. Thank you all the teachers too - Grace

We went to the kindergarten for Friday Project. Last week we read a book to the kids, today we did rippa rugby and next week we are doing football - Ruban

For our Friday project we went to Wakari Kindy. We are going there for the rest of the term. The kids there are very playful - Lucas

For Friday project we have been going to Wakari Kindy. It has been so fun and we are teaching the kids some dance moves and some songs - Maddi

In our first session  my brother and me had a lot of fun. We made Mother’s Day gifts for my Mum, we made two cards! We also played outside, played with the play dough and clay and much much more! This time we did art. We painted and glued a cardboard for America and sprinkled bird seed, we also made a rubbish bin lantern! Next time I’m planning to do some more art - Megha

At the kindy we learnt most of the kids names and played with them. We brought some books and danced/sang. The kids love us there. We're happy we can go there for the whole term. And the kids never want us to leave  -  Lucy, Sophie, Aoife, Lacey and Belle
