Room 14 Write Kennings Poems
Room 14 writers have been busy creating kennings poems. These poems are riddles which describe something without saying what it is.
We began by working with a partner to write kennings poems about different animals. The poems are a list of four (or more!) descriptions and each description has only two words joined with a hyphen. Then we read them out for the class to guess. Can you figure out what these animals are?
