The Year Sixes travelled to Camp Columba in Week Two for a fantastic week of adventure and firsts!

What an amazing time the Year Sixes had at Camp Columba, 2022. We arrived on Tuesday and got straight into a wide range of camp activities. The children had a wonderful week pushing their comfort zones and trying new things, even new foods! 

Camp would not be possible without all of your support. A special big thanks to the camp parent helpers, Cooke Howlison for the use of their courtesy coach, Aotearoa Gaming Trust who funded the accomodation, Air Rescue and Community Services who funded the transport and of course to all of the children. 

Here are some thank you letters written by the children:

Dear Kara,

Thank you for giving up your time to come to Year 6 camp. My favourite part about camp was everything because it was all so much fun but if I had to choose it would be the formal dance because it was funny when you dressed up and took us to our Seat. Thank you for helping us at our activities and coming to help everybody out. I hope you will be able to help out again this year.

Thank you for helping with the activities. Thank you for giving up your time to help Year 6 Camp. All of the Year 6's are thankful. We wouldn't have been able to do zipline, flying kiwi or archery. One of my favourite activities was high ropes.
