There was lots to do in the garden today, getting ready for winter.

It was a beautiful sunny lunchtime today and the Garden Group helpers were busy preparing the garden for winter. We had to get rid of some weeds first, then we planted some vegetables. We dug holes for the new plants and put in silver beet, pak choi, celery, broccoli and parsley.  We also put some broad bean seeds into the ground. Some people planted some plants that have flowers that attract the bees. After planting, we used the watering cans to water the seeds and plants.
