Girls Have A Go Football Day

Anna Ollerenshaw —

20 budding young footballers from the Senior Hub opted to join Football South for a fun morning of football.

On Friday 22nd of February a few senior girls chose to have a go at some football exercises and games at Tahuna Park. There were three different schools Wakari, Mornington and Carisbrook. We left school at 9:15am and came back at 11:45am. One of the activities was one where you have to use a flag and a whistle and we gotta keep them. We also got to meet a football player called Hannah. We got posters for Hannah to sign and I got my poster and my shoes signed. The coach was called Tessa.

On Friday the 22nd of February a few senior kids went to Tahuna Park from 9:15am-11:45 am. We did different activities there like practicing dribbling a ball and playing football octopus.  Carisbrook School, Mornington School, and Wakari School came.  We also got some of our things signed like our drink bottles and school bags. I got my drink bottle signed and my school bag signed as well. There were six activities in total. At the end we won some prizes like a wristband and whistles and posters with signatures on them It was a lot of fun. We also got to meet a very famous football player called Hannah.  The main coach called Tessa.
