3D Printer Group Makes Amazing Sculptures

Caroline Brown —

On Mondays and Fridays the 3D Printer Group have been busy!

When 3D printing was offered as an option Charlie chose to do it because he loved doing 3D printing.  Emma chose to do 3D printing because she liked the sound of it and wanted to try something new.

We have had some challenges along the way such as having the measurements  wrong by a fraction of a centimetre which has meant that our designs are too small for them to work.

The first things to print were Charlie's name tag then Millie's OWAKA sign which was followed by Emma's penguin. Other things that have been printed in our group include a house, a ring and a fidget spinner. We have now decided to do some challenges on Tinkercad such as a working catapult that will actually fire a ball. We are also trying to make a balloon car.
