We are currently in the process of setting classes for 2024.
Planning for classes for the 2024 school year has begun. Parents are welcome to speak with Syndicate Leaders if they have any questions or requests about their child's placement for next year. Parents may choose to speak with either the current or future syndicate leader:
Senior Syndicate: David Waddell (Room 7)
Middle Syndicate: Heather Bonney (Room 16)
Junior Syndicate: Judith Stanbridge (Room 3)
Next year we anticipate 4 classes across the Middle Syndicate. This will include some current Year 1 pupils within this syndicate (these children will be Year 2 in 2024). Judith Stanbridge will be in touch with those parents/caregivers of children that will be moving to the middle syndicate in the coming weeks. A number of next year's Year 4s will also be in the Senior Syndicate. It is important to be aware that not all requests are able to be met and while we consider parent preferences, the placement of each child is based upon the needs of the children, our staffing and class structures within the school. Please ensure that if you wish to discuss this, you do so by Friday 3 November. The final decision will be made by the Senior Leadership team. Children will be made aware of which class they are in for 2024 later in term 4. If your child is leaving Wakari School at the end of 2023, it is also important that you advise us.
