We have been busy this term with our topic ' I Am A Legend'. We have been learning about different legends and then creating our own. We can't wait to share them with you!

This term we have learnt about Myths and Legends. We started by looking at different legends from NZ and around the world. We worked out that legends explain how something in the world came to be.

We then began planning our own legends. Some of the real life things we have chosen to write about include how pigs got curly tails, how tigers got their stripes, how the southern/northern lights were made, how caves were made. how the Matariki stars came into the sky. We got lots of feedback on our ideas and began to write our stories.

Finally, we published our stories and decided how we wanted to present them using our PBL toolbox. Most of us have chosen to turn our legends into books using Book creator. We can't wait to share our stories with everyone.
