THE ROCKY SHORE VISITS THE SCHOOL HALL!

Anna Ollerenshaw —

We had two scientists visit us and set up some rocky shore activities for us in the hall.

Last week on Friday two experts came to the school and taught us some things about the rocky shore. My favourite parts were learning about crabs and learning about the temperature and how much salt is in the water. I learnt about how a tide pool on a sunny day has more salt than the sea and the female crab has a wider tail then the male. It was super fun and I hope we can do it again!!!!!

Last week on Friday we went to the hall and experts showed us activities about the rocky shore. I liked the activity about the crabs life cycle and how to tell the difference between a female and male. They were all fun though. I loved doing it I hope we do it again.
