Our PALs have had another busy term!

Katy Fitzgerald —

Our PALs (Physical Activity Leaders) have had another training day recently, as well as running fitness sessions in the senior syndicate and lunchtime activities for the middle syndicate.

Last Wednesday we had PALs day at the Edgar Centre. We had athletics, soccer, touch, tennis and cricket, My favourite sport was Cricket because all of the cricket games were really fun! So I really want to carry on doing PALs and being a school leader.

Last Wednesday we went to the Edgar Centre with lots of P.A.L.s from lots of schools. We played games like Cricket, Football, Touch, Athletics and Tennis. It was really fun. I love being a PAL, I hope I can carry on with it.

On Wednesdays, Libby from Otago University comes and gives us  ideas for P.A.L.S,  like new games and skills and new rules for games that we like to play. Today we are taking the Senior Hub outside to play some new games the we got to do at the Edgar Centre. We have also been running lunchtime activities for kids from the middles.
