Wow, what a term in Hub 12 and 13!

Chloe Barton —

Between designing and making wearable arts costumes, special furry visitors, a science show at Balmacewen, tie dye Friday and dress up book character day, it has been one awesome term for the Tamariki in our Hub!

Highlights of the term:

My highlight was making and designing our wearable arts costume because I liked making the witch with my buddy Sloane. We used rubbish bags for the skirt, a cone shape with stars and moons on it for the hat and we made a cauldron out of paper mache. I can't wait for the show next term! - Sophie, Room 12

My highlight of the term was the rippa tournament because I really liked having a nice team and having people who were always supporting us! - Ava, Room 13

My highlight of the term was being in the Room 12 and 13 Hub with all my friends! - Rosie, Room 12

My highlight of the term was wearable arts because we could make anything we like and we could do lots of painting and sticking things together. I made a narwal using fabric. I made a top, a skirt and a headpiece. My buddies made a cardboard narwal too, they painted it and stuck milk bottle caps all over it. - Ella, Room 13

My favourite part of this term was doing our free play with Jason, I really enjoyed making the construction! - Mason P, Room 12
