Amazing Artwork

Anna Ollerenshaw —

What have the Juniors and Middle children been up to?

A lucky group of six children from the Juniors and Middles have spent the past five Wednesday afternoons creating some amazing artworks. Firstly, we learnt all about Pablo Picasso, then created our own cubism faces. We worked with blending pastels for the faces. We used watercolors for the background of our faces. Secondly, in keeping with the Olympic theme, we made 3D tinfoil athletes. Then we added the shadow created by our athletes.

Our third and final thing we did was to visit the Dunedin Public Art Gallery where we saw many different types of art, paintings, sculptures, carvings, water displays and so on.

The art is on display in the office for all who wish to see these amazing artworks.
