The Wakari Cross Country on Monday was a great success. It was a lovely sunny day, the first time in a couple of years the children were not running on a muddy field with rain threatening. It was so good to see all the parents, family and friends out to support this event.

The children all gave it their best, with everyone completing the course.  It was fabulous to see the children supporting and encouraging each other.  Well done to our Wakari children. The teachers were so proud of you.  Much thanks to all those supporters who came along.  

It is also important to celebrate the winners on the day. We have so many talented children at Wakari school, their talents shinning through in so many different aspects of our curriculum. It is great to recognise our amazing sporting girls and boys who did so amazingly well on the day.  Well done the super runners, who placed in the first three places. We have attached the results below for you to see.  Congratulations also to the children who are not listed, but qualified to go forward to the Hills Cross Country.
