More than 200 yams were dug up last week in the school garden.
It looked like the yam plants had died, but when we dug into the soil we found heaps of yams. We had to pull them off the stalks and put them into the bucket. Some of them looked like animals and some even looked like people! We are going to cook them and let all the children in the school taste them.
