Term 1 Friday Project

Katy Fitzgerald —

The Senior Syndicate students have experienced a range of activities for Friday Project this term. Here are some students' reflections.

For Friday Project I was in the stuffed animals group. I was making a monkey holding a banana with felt. I did not get it finished this term but hopefully next term. It was lots of fun. Matilda Andersen

For Friday Project I worked with clay. I enjoyed sculpting all of the things I have made. I made two pots and a love heart. I learned that you need to be patient making the clay smooth. I really enjoyed it. Morgan Brown

At Friday Project time I have been working on HISTORY. It was so much fun. I made a vision board about Egypt with hieroglyphics, maps and facts. Lexie Clark

For Friday ProjectI have made a caterpillar with spikes on its back and a name tag for my bag that has now been printed. I did this using Tinkercad and the 3D printer. Tyler Smith

In the Senior Hub I have been doing sports for Friday Project and it is fun. I learnt how to do discus and shot put and we did drills too like dribbling a basketball. On the last day we made cards for Ruben's parents for teaching us discus and shot put. It was fun! Joey Annison

In the Senior Hub, for Friday  Project we have been doing Tinkercad with Mrs Fitzgerald. Tinkercad is a fun creating app that you can design 3D printed stuff. Elijah Hutton-Neill

For Friday Project I have been doing robotics and  it is really cool. You get to use n.x.t Lego robots. You can build a Lego robot then after that you can program it to do things like dancing and moving around other robots. Tom Pryor

At Friday Project time I am in the sewing group. I made a  'Marshmello' soft toy but I didn't get it finished in time. I will work on it again next term or finish it at home. I learned how to thread a needle and hand sew. Noah Moynihan
