On the 15th of March a group of keen rugby league players headed off to an Otago Rugby League Carnival.

James Karawana and Atawhai Hotene worked hard with the children at school. James spent lots of lunchtimes coaching the children and getting them ready for the event, as well as managing the team on the day of the event.

On Friday of week 6 some seniors went to Opoho to compete in the 2019 rugby league primary school tournament. Every school had three games against another school. The three primary schools that we played were against: East Taieri Gold, East Taieri Green and Carisbrook. Our team won one game out of the three games which is good because it was a competitive tournament. We really enjoyed playing.
