... the Year 5's play!

While the year sixes have been away at camp the year fives have been having a great time. So we started on the first day with selling our siblings, parents and teachers as an advertisement for our writing. Next we were put in groups and we had to work together to make up our own board game. And on Tuesday we started some kiwiana art and we had to put in 4 sections. The year fives have also played Gribben tag made by Mrs Gribben. Then we’re going to do some activities with books that we have eight activities like bookmarks, make a superhero out of the book, make wanted posters, word search and a comic strip.

On Tuesday the Year fives started kiwiana art. We had to pick out four New Zealand icons. We had to draw them on a piece paper and colour in the border and the background. We had to draw things like, red band gumboots, or kiwis of course, L&P, jaffas, pukekos, pavlova marmite and jandals.
