The children’s eczema study is now recruiting and they are looking for volunteers aged 2-12 years with a doctor's diagnosis of eczema to test a novel mānuka oil-based topical treatment. Volunteers must be able to travel to the participating pharmacy in Dunedin, however, we can offer assistance if requested. They will be provided with study treatment to apply twice daily for 6 weeks and will answer a weekly questionnaire about their eczema symptoms. Participants will return to the pharmacy six weeks later for a second visit. All study medication is provided free of charge and volunteers will be compensated for their time and travel expenses.
