Recently Room 12 had 'Dave the Scientist' come to show the children lots of cool things.

On Tuesday the 10th of November Room 12 and half of Room 13 went to see Scientist Dave. We learnt about different acids and mixed acids and water and then put in some magnesium and recorded how long it took for the metal to dissolve. We tested the experiment in 3 different ways. We filled some measuring tubs with 15ml of acid and 5ml with water, 20ml of acid, 10ml of acid 10ml of water. We did all of these twice and the last one once because we didn't have enough time. We had a great time with Dave and hopefully we can do it again.
