Senior classes visit the art gallery.

On Monday Room 2 went to the art gallery to view and create some artworks. We were looking at 'Comics and Cartoons'. It was interesting to learn that cartoons were inspired by Japanese art. Our class then made short plays to perform behind a large shadow screen. 

We got to watch a short film made in 1928 by the famous Walt Disney.

Once we got to John's classroom everyone chose a phrase to then represent literally in a piece of art. Here are some of the finished pieces. Can you pick what phrase each piece of art represents?
