Wonder Project Rocket Challenge!

Alisha DeCourcy —

The Senior Hub has had a 'blast' the last 4 weeks learning about Rockets and how they work. We have been lucky to have 4 Rocket Ambassadors come to our Hub every Friday to help us learn what is needed to make a Rocket fly!

We have been busy designing and  making our own Rockets - We had great success with our first test flights on our Prototypes last week. This week we have been busy making changes to our Rockets so that they are ready for the final take off tomorrow!

My favourite part about the rocket challenge was watching the first rocket launch, we got to see all the different directions the rockets went and everyones rocket was designed differently. By Paige Kerr

I have enjoyed launching the rockets. We were able to see what worked well with our rocket design. We realised after the first flight we needed to add another fin and a nose cone to help it fly better. It has been lots of fun!  By Flynn Richards

I have really enjoyed having our ambassador Dylan come and help us in our class every Friday. He has a really cool job because he gets to help create big buildings. He has helped us learn what rockets need so that they can fly! - By Xavier Bristow
