See how the athletes got on at the North Zone Athletics

On Tuesday the kids that qualified for North Zone Athletics went to the Caledonian to compete against other schools. The events were 800m, 60m, 75m, 100m sprints, long jump, shot put, discus, 200m relay, high jump and 60 and 70 meter hurdles. I competed in 75 metre sprint, shot put, discus and 200m relay. It was really fun and I hope I do it next year.  By Lachlan

On Tuesday the qualifying people went to the Caledonian to do athletics. I qualified to do sprints and relays. I came relays in my first race and 4th in my second race. It was cool. My favourite part was when I finished my first race for sprints. I had a great time.  By Milly H

On Tuesday the qualifying people went to the Caledonian to do athletics. I qualified for long jump, discus and 800 m run. For long jump I got 3.57m and in discus I got 15.71m in my throw and for the 800 m run I got 14th. It was fun getting out of school and spending the day doing sports. By Brayden

On Tuesday the children who qualified for North Zone Athletics went to the Caledonian ground for the North Zone Athletics day. The first event I competed in was the U10 boys 60m sprint. I came 1st in that, not by a lot though. My next event was the U11 boys discus. I am pretty sure I came 1st in that too with a throw of 18.95m. By Ruben
