Mrs Stanbridge was in at school the weekend before Term 1 started and noticed a letter addressed to the children of Rooms 1,2 and 3. Mrs Lawson and Mrs Bonney found the same!

This term the Junior Hub is learning about The Rocky Shore. Our driving question is How can we, as carers of the Earth, protect environments that help rockpool creatures survive?

We are going to be learning about how the tides work, what creatures and plants live in rockpools and how we can look after our Akau Tokatoka, Rocky Shore. We have a very exciting trip to Warrington soon, to check out the rock pools there and see if we can find (and leave) the creatures we have been studying. We will be spending time cleaning up the beach too, which hopefully won't take long.
