A keen group of outdoor explorers have been out and about this term with their Friday Project group - despite the weather not being kind!

We've been having a blast on Fridays going hut building as well as orienteering. Rain or sun we've been out doing it. Thanks to the parents. They've made it fun, even if it was raining, by giving us challenges from finding types of plants to learning to read maps and more.    By Tamati

It's been super fun doing outdoor ed and its all thanks to the parent helpers. They have been teaching us how to read maps, about plants and trees and we've learnt how to build shelters. It is really fun. I am looking forward to doing more things like this.         By Ari

For the last few Fridays our group have been going out of school to do fun activities like orienteering, bush walks, scavenger hunts etc. It has been so fun and I am so happy that I am in the outdoor ed group and I am looking forward for do more fun activities.       By Gracie
