Room 6 had to follow some instructions to create an origami dog. We then had to write our own instructions for the same task. We had to make sure our instructions were specific enough so that someone else could follow them to create their own dog. Here are some of our instructions - Maybe you could give them a go at home?

How To Make An Origami Dog

Materials:

• square piece of paper
• coloured felt.

Steps

1. Fold the paper in half again to make a smaller triangle.
2. Unfold the piece of paper once so your triangle has a line through it.
3. Fold the top tips down just off the paper to get ears.
4. Fold the bottom up ¼ following the crease to get a nose.
5. Add eyes and a nose detail then you're done!

How to make an origami dog.

What you need:

• piece of square origami paper
• pen

Steps:

1. Fold your paper, corner to corner, to create a triangle.

2. Repeat step 1, but on different corners.

3. Unfold step 2

4. Fold the left corner down, like puppy ears, while hanging off the side.

5. Repeat step 4 but on the other corner

6. Fold the bottom corner up ¼ of the way, like a dog nose.

7. Draw the eyes on the biggest triangle, and the nose on the smallest.
