A fortnight ago some of the Enviro Kids met with two local men called Neil and John at the local church.

We walked through the beginnings of a track beside the stream and found lots of different native plants and seedlings. We are excited about this because they will attract native birds into the area. We also saw some plants such as pine trees and gorse which have been introduced. These plants will be cut down. We want to find out more about the uses of the native trees we saw, so we will research them back at school.
