Year Two Ukuleles

Carolyn Robins —

Our Hub 10/11 musical maestros are playing up a storm with Mrs Gribben.

Every Monday at 11am Room 10 & 11 go to the hall and we get our own ukuleles to play.  They are all different colours.  Mrs Gribben helps us with the chords.  We have learnt to play C and G7.  It is tricky to know where to put our fingers!

We sing lots of really cool songs like Shortenin' Bread and Wimoweh.  We even made up our own words for Frere Jaques.  Mrs Gribben has taught us how to do a cool rockstar finish with our hands at the end of songs.
