A strong group of athletes competed in the Otago Athletics competition on Tuesday 15th November.

Everyone showed amazing sportsmanship and gave their very best effort.

The relay teams ran well and there were plenty of green tops that progressed through to the finals.

Leighton Harris-Mears: Under 11 Long Jump - 2nd place

Leighton Harris-Mears, Fletcher Ewing, Matteo Maraine and Tāmati Matthews: Under 11 Relay - 3rd place

Jaiden Crane, Lleyton Acklin, Max Lintott and Lewis Anglemyer: Under 10 Relay - 4th place

Stacey Karawana, Sophie Smith, Lani Huntley and Sophie Whalan: Under 11 Relay - 4th place

Congratulations to Stacey (4th), Lleyton, Leighton (6th) and Kailah who ran well in their finals sprint races. 

Tom and Tāmati gave it their all in the 800m Year 5/6 final race at the end of the day.
