Do you know who is behind the animal mask? Is it the goody or the baddy in the fairy tale? Room 1 have been writing more fairy tales with exciting characters.

The Room 1 children have been writing more fairy tales!  This time the animal mask they made during Art is one of the characters.  The children have worked hard to begin their stories with 'Once upon a time,' use descriptive words and solve the character's problem so that the characters live happily ever after.  They have enjoyed being the author and illustrator of their stories.

Once upon a time there was a princess and a tiger. The princess lived in a red and blue castle. The tiger lived in the jungle. It was full of big, green trees. One day the princess went for a walk but an evil tiger saw the princess walking. The tiger had a fight with the princess but the princess won! So the tiger went home. The tiger became the princess’s pet and they lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time there was a Queen called Tayla and she lived in a castle. One day a bunny came to the Queen’s castle to get a carrot from the kitchen but it was a bad bunny. The bunny came back to the castle to get more carrots but the Queen was there. The Queen caught the bad bunny. She got mad because she liked carrots as well. The Queen got lots more carrots for her and the bunny. She invited the bunny to stay and have carrot tea and they lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time there was a good lion and a big giant. They lived in the forest. The giant was hungry. He saw the lion and the giant fought the lion. The lion was food. The giant ran and ran and ran until he was tired. Suddenly he found some honey to eat but there were bees. The giant didn’t know there were bees. The lion frightened the bees away with his big roar! The lion and the giant lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time there was an owl. His name was James and he lived up in a tree. There was a lion who liked to eat grass. The owl flew away and the lion followed him and the owl flew into the tree. The lion ran away but he came back in the morning with a big sword. The owl woke up and he bit him on the ear and the owl ate him all up. He lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time there was a good fox and a bear who lived in a castle in the forest. They ate grass and berries. One day a bad leopard came and scared them off! Then a bad fox came and the leopard and the bad fox chased them. Then the bad fox and the leopard took their castle. Bear and the good fox asked if they wanted to be friends. They said yes and then they all lived happily ever after.
