Last week the Room 9 mathematicians focused on Geometry, and were learning all about shapes.

 The sharp eyed learners from Room 9 became great shape hunters last week and we discovered that shapes are everywhere!  We found squares, circles, triangles, diamonds, rectangles and even hexagons in our classroom!  We found it tricky to find octagons so we made our own!  We went on to make other shapes too and put them together to make amazing shape monsters.
