Fantastic Frog News!

Hub 10 and 11 are lucky to have some tadpoles in our classroom. We have been reading stories, and doing lots of activities based around them. Here are some examples of our wonderful work!

Did you know that female frogs lay eggs? When they hatch they turn into tadpoles. Then they turn into froglets and their tails get smaller and smaller and then disappears. Then the back legs and front legs grow. Now they are frogs.  By Nikoda

Once upon a time there lived a King and Queen frog. The Queen frog laid eggs. One night an intruder came into their castle and stole some of the eggs. The King and Queen were so sad because the intruder had 6 of their eggs, and now there were only 4 left. A few weeks later the eggs hatched into tadpoles... (To be continued)  By Charlotte
