We are thrilled to welcome Sue Mepham to our teaching team this year! Whaea Sue is a very experienced music teacher, who has deep connections with Wakari School and our wider Wakari Community.

Our Kapa Haka sessions have started on a very positive note with the newest teacher to our Wakari teaching team, Whaea Sue, leading the Kapa Haka learning. Sue has extensive musical teaching experience. She has been teaching music at Balmacewen Intermediate for 20 years, leads the Flagstaff Community Choir and also teaches piano.

Sue's own children were Wakari School pupils so she has been a part of our Wakari School community as a parent, and now as a teacher. Welcome Sue!
