The Hub has been buzzing as we dive deep into our Term 2 topic - the early navigators to New Zealand.

The kids have been loving learning about the history of New Zealand and how the early navigators came here. They were amazed that things such as the sun, stars and sea currents helped them get here.

We have been doing lots of fun activities alongside our learning and have even had an expert come and talk to us - we have learnt so much!

Our latest activities have included making Waka as part of our Action Station Makertable task and also creating story boards to tell the story of these amazing navigators. Our plan is to use these story boards to make an animation and tell this story in our own way - we are very excited!
